Exhibition stand design is a complex business. Subject to the type of shows you wish to attend throughout the year, their size, and how you wish them to be designed and installed – either by ourselves or your own staff – will dictate the type of exhibition stand design and equipment you require.

At exhibitions you can book ‘shell-scheme’ space or ‘space-only’ exhibition space. Shell scheme exhibition space is more expensive to book per m2, as it comes complete with carpet , a small electrics package and basic walls and framework to the exhibition booth. These spaces are generally smaller and are usually at a max height of 2.5m. Space only exhibition stand space is cheaper to book per m2 – but that is all you get and are generally larger booth stand spaces. Everything else like flooring, electrics, exhibition stand walls, etc has to be provided by your contractor. The max height you can build to is 4m. You can go up to 6m height – but this requires structural engineers reports to build the exhibition stand at this level.

Expomod modular exhibition display stand

Modular exhibition stands

Modular exhibition stands are generally aluminium framed structures that you add fabric or foamex printed graphics to. As the exhibition stand design is based on an aluminium structure you can add and grow the exhibition stand display equipment you have. Exhibition graphics can easily be changed and applied to the booth framework. Exhibition display systems can be purchased or hired subject to your final exhibition requirements and available project budgets. Below are examples of our expomod exhibition display system. This is made up of extruded aluminium components, which printed fabric panels are fixed to. THe printed panels contain a silicon bead strip which locates in a channel in the exhibition aluminium profile. The aluminium exhibition display framework can also have LED lights applied to the inside of the framework – creating large lightbox exhibition display walls. Budget costs to hire this system starts from £250-£300 per m2. To purchase this system – it does cost more up-front, but over the long term – if there are many exhibition trade show events you wish to attend – can be more cost effective. These can be installed within shell scheme exhibition stand space or space only trade show event spaces. Our exhibition stand designers will provide a suitable booth solution, based on your final exhibition project requirements. Our exhibition stand builders and contractors will ensure the exhibition stand design is turned into a reality.

POP-Up exhibition display systems

These compact temporary exhibition stands are designed for small exhibition spaces, and are designed to be quickly erected by the exhibitor themselves. Magnetic exhibition graphics quickly fix to the expanding exhibition stand framework. These systems are generally intended for use within shell scheme exhibition spaces. If you wish to get involed in the exhibition stand building process, then these can be an idea economical exhibition display solution for the smaller exhibition booths. Our exhibition stand designers would be pleased to prepare an exhibition stand design which fulfills your project requirements.
